Mubla 2.0: It starts here

I’d like to personally welcome you officially to Mubla 2.0.  Rob mentioned this in his blog, but we are about to embark on the the biggest journey of our lives.  Rob and I are going to create an album, from scratch to the finish product, and every single detail of that process will be here for all the world to see.

Tomorrow we go into the studio for the first time.  Over two days, our aim is to record the song ideas that we have so far in a basic form – just piano and our voices.  Then, when we get home, we will post the recordings here at robandkal.com for you to give us your opinions and to give you an early idea of where we’re going with each song.

It’s safe to say, that from now on, you should expect updates everyday, be they blogs like this one, pictures and videos from inside the studio, vlogs, and our brand new weekly podcast.  To say I’m excited is an understatement and I hope you can share in that excitement.

As you will hear in our first ever podcast, due out in the next few days, you can contact us and give us your opinions in so many different ways.  We have comment boxes on every page of robandkal.com for you to say whatever it is you feel.  Please leave your name and email address and I promise we will get back to you.  You can also drop us an email at [email protected] or you could just speak directly to us via facebook.  The choice is yours.

As I say, this site will be constantly updating and evolving so be sure to check back everyday for the latest.  We suggest that you sign up to our mailing list so that we can contact you if and when anything major happens!

Rob and I are rehearsing today in readiness for our two day studio session and will upload pictures as soon as we’re done.  I really can’t wait for this, and hope your feedback and comments will be able to help us.  We’re relying on you. :)
